The school is set in extensive grounds comprising playing fields, an environmental area featuring a pond and wild flower meadow and a lawn with mature specimen trees. Spacious all weather play areas include a netball court, a recently installed trim trail and a new children’s Jubilee Garden which was designed in Summer 2002.

Reception and Year 1 pupils are accommodated in a new classroom wing incorporating two staff offices and Year 2 pupils occupy rooms near the main school entrance.
A fully equipped Learning Centre incorporates a non – fiction library and ICT suite. A new fiction library has been created in the junior building. All Key Stage 1 classrooms have direct access onto play areas. A spacious hall accommodates PE and dance activities as well as whole school assemblies and productions. Administrative offices are conveniently located adjacent to the main entrance and reception area.
Access to the Key Stage 2 building is through a covered walkway. This area consists of eight classrooms, pottery room, Art & Design Technology room, a fiction library, staff conference facilities and a secondary hall all arranged around an award-winning outdoor classroom. This hall is used as an infant gymnasium, a dining area and for Key Stage assemblies. There are two main playgrounds; the infants’ is located at the front of the school whilst the older children use the playground at the rear of the building. The playing fields are used as football pitches during the winter season and marked with an athletics track in summer.
